Bermuda Bound

by Karen Phillips Curran

“Sunday Walls”
is a collection of small works telling the story of texture and light in Bermuda.

This year I am returning to the island with a body of mixed media work on canvas called “Sunday Walls”. Sunday Walls speaks of texture, of light, of age of transformation and the diligence required to create the structures of Bermuda.

There are doors and windows and walls that I return to each time I visit. They are benchmarks of time, and have over the years created a continum in my work,  an investigation of light texture and love.
Sunday Walls will be at the Bermuda Society of the Arts gallery in City Hall Hamilton Bermuda from February 25th to March 15th.
